Dr. Rutooj Deshpande

Rutooj is Battery Scientist and Hybrid-electric vehicle expert. He has a PhD (Kentucky) and Post-doctoral Fellow (Berkeley, CA) with a specialization in Lithium-Ion Batteries for Automotive Applications (US). He has 13 international journal articles and 18 patents. He has worked on vehicle electrification program for Ford, General Motors, Rivian and has more than 15 years of industry experience.

Mrugank Karandika

Mrugank brings significant experience in the electric mobility space having developed battery systems for the likes of KION (a large material handling company) and Unu (an electric moped based in Berlin). Having worked with Mercedes-Benz Research and Development, India and having done his master’s in production engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, he brings in the key knowledge of system integration and a thorough understanding of DFX (Design for X). He has close to 10 years of industry experience.

He has around 14 years of experience working with likes of Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki and Volkswagen.
